Description
This image was taken at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary in Orr, Minnesota. It's always a treat to see the cubs when the mothers bring them to the Sanctuary. Seeing triplets is a special treat. They are so much fun to watch. Their behavior is like a cat on a hot tin roof! They are very watchful of the males or boars. The males will kill the cubs if they get a chance. That is why the mothers will send their cubs up a tree when they're gone.

Congrats, great shot! Was mom looking over your shoulder?
Gerry Sibell replied:
Thanks, Scott! Mom was somewhere on the other side of the tree. She was protecting the cubs from a male bear. The males will sometimes, kill the cubs.
