Delicate Arch Canvas Print

This is an image of the Delicate Arch taken in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. There is a hike involved of about a mile and a half to get to the backside of the Arch. For a couple who live in a low elevation, are on the backside of 60 and bad knees, this was no "walk in the park"! We did make it although our oldest granddaughter is sixteen and she was like a mountain goat on the trail! All in all, it was quite a sight to see and photograph.

Our favorite place to visit and photograph is Yellowstone National Park. My project for the past ten years has been photographing small birds in flight. The most frustrating endeavor I have ever attempted but also the most rewarding. Each day, it seems like a new problem has to be solved with this very difficult kind of photography!
